Since its founding, Suomi-Koti has been guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, made up of individuals who bring a wide range of skills, experience, and deep community commitment. Many have personal ties to Suomi-Koti and the Finnish and Estonian communities in Toronto, and all share a passion for supporting seniors and preserving cultural heritage.
The Board provides strategic oversight, ensures good governance, and supports long-term planning for both the Seniors' Residence and our Long-Term Care / Nursing Home. Working closely with staff and community partners, the Board helps ensure that Suomi-Koti continues to be a warm, safe, and culturally meaningful place to call home.
Suomi-Koti is grateful for the leadership, time, and heart that its Board members provide on behalf of our Finnish seniors. Kiitos!
